Summer Nights.

Hello, lovebugs!

Just a quickie from me tonight, I'm on a week-long "vacation" with my SL family! We've laid claim to an entire sim for one week, made it nice and tropical, and are having some fun getting to know the newer members, and reconnecting with the veterans. 

I was in charge of musical entertainment tonight, so I decided to summer it up with a fun dress recently released from Cynful! Cynthia and Promise always do a wonderful job with their color palates, and this dress was no exception! Cynful at The Dressing Room!!

Hello, darlings!!

The weekend is coming up quick, and I'm sure everyone in the States is going to be out and about, having a great time at barbecues, sitting back and having a nice cold beer with friends, and watching the fireworks go off...unfortunately I'll be at work all day, so I won't get to go out on the lake with friends to enjoy myself :(

But that doesn't stop me from telling you all about the newness that's coming up on Friday, from Cynful! 

The Dressing Room is a bi-weekly event that's been going on for...gosh, I can't even count how many years now...I heard about it for the first time in late 2010, I believe, and I've been going ever since. Nearly all of the items available are priced between 40 and 70L, and it's all stuff from really great designers. Cynful has put out three new colors of their classic "First Date" dress, in neon pink, tan and black :D 

This dress comes with an applier HUD for those ladies with Tangos, and there is a size created specifically for those of you who wear the PhatAzz...so never fear, your booties will be covered!

After I put this really adorable outfit together, I realized that I needed some great shoes for it! I threw on a random pair, then forgot about it for a while...and headed over to FaMESHed with a friend of mine(Divi if you're reading this, HAY GURL!!!), and looked around...then saw these, from N-core...

And proceeded to die of happiness. 

N-core is one of the few remaining shoe companies who have not jumped onto the Slink bandwagon, and while I think that's sad...I won't ever stop wearing them. I have been loyal to N-core for as long as my shoe obsession in SL has been around, so...about four and a half years now. These are just so interestingly made, and a really neat concept shoe!! I don't think I could ever wear these in RL, but in SL...YES MAMA let me rock these!!!

I'm especially in love with this pair pictured above, the Splendor ankle strapped heel! The amazing thing about this shoe is that it comes fully color-change, in 9 different colors(24 if you bump up to the fatpack...and really, why wouldn't you???), with materials-ready diamonds that are able to be shown or hidden, all with a click of your hud!
I really really REALLY love the aqua texture that Eon's got going on, so I paired it with an oldie but goodie from Cynful, I believe it was available in this color last year during an anniversary party(I don't remember off the top of my head, bad bad blogger!), so it's sadly not available anymore, but still...the dress itself, called Kamalin, is super sleek and sexy, sure to grab the attention of anyone in the room!

The Thrift Shop 5 is coming up soon(June 8th, actually), and Cynful is a part of the action this round, with a new release of a classic pair of jeans, the Bell Bottoms! These jeans were a huuuuge hit when they were released last year, so it's so good to see them coming out again! These jeans are hitting the grid in nine all-new colors, with a regular and used texture available. The belt buckle changes four different colors, and the belt itself will have 8 different colors available :D
I wanted to stray a little bit away from my normal dark colors for jeans, so I chose the red. I love the beat-up texture going on here, it makes for a fun look..and it's like the jeans were made for the top I'm wearing, brought to the grid by Toxxic Rhinnyr of AlterEgo! In a previous post I mentioned that her stuff is truly hit or miss for me, but this was definitely a hit, so thank you sooo much Toxxic for the quotes to make me giggle.
