February Blues.

So...it's been a couple weeks, darlings! 

February has been a really emotionally draining month for me for the last ten years or so, just because I've had a lot of things happen. People who I love very dearly have passed away in the month of February...beloved pets have disappeared...friendships have been broken beyond any sense of repair...so add to all of that the fact that I am newly single, and this month just...eww. I needed a break, and I needed to take a step back and try to get my head in a good spot again, and I think I have done just that.

You know, even though I am borderline miserable in RL and SL at the moment and the very thought of love makes me shudder in revulsion...I gotta say, SL content creators really do Valentines Day up right...and nobody is as at the top of her game as Mariska Simons, the creative genius behind Blacklace Lingerie, the absolute best in sexy little underthings. Every year I look forward to seeing what she releases for Valentines Day, and even if I don't get the chance to wear her creations for someone special, I pick it up anyway. She didn't disappoint with this new creation, called Cotton Candy, either. The detail is always so phenomenal...I am always so blown away with what people can do with their talents in SL, and wish I could do the same as well. 

I decided to go a little bit sleazy with the shoe, just to offset the sweetness of the lingerie...and Eon of Moda Designs never ever fails me...my shoe inventory is quite large, thanks to her stuff, and I am always excited to grab the newest release :D Speaking of new release, this is it!! Bridgit is offered in a 24-color HUD, and the shoe is changeable in seven different sections...and the best part of all? This sexy pair of shoes is only L$299! Quite a steal, make sure you grab them up!

I said that I didn't have anyone to wear my lingerie for this year, and it's true...occupational hazard of being single means that you don't have that one special person to tease and seduce anymore. So...I just went ahead and grabbed one of my most adored and treasured gay boyfriends, Stat Frenzy, and made him get grope-y with me. He has been such a blessing, a breath of fresh air into my SL, and I just love him to pieces and back together again. During the course of this photo session he shaded me so hardcore, and then stuck a banana up my butt...all the while telling me that I'm the best ever. I love this guy's randomness and his ability to be silly when I need him to be, and serious at the times it's most appropriate, too. He is an amazing and talented photographer, so make sure you go and check his Flickr stream out right here...just a fair warning, he is definitely not safe for most kinds of work. <3
